What is B.Sc. Computer Science about?

B.Sc Computer Science is a course of digital world, which introduce students to the fundamentals of Computer sciences and its applications

Computer Science is the study of theory, principles, experimentation that form the basis for the design and use of computers in daily activities. It is concerned with understanding, designing, execution and solving issues related to computer system and its applications.


Duration - 3 years


Eligibility - 10+2 pass(with science stream)


Average fees - 15 K to 25 K for three years (Government aided colleges) and for private institutions, the fee may be as high as up to 1 lakh for three years.

B.Sc Computer Science can prove to be a right choice for students who are interested in  new technologies and want to explore it.Those who are familiar with word processing skills, spreadsheet skills, web navigation skills and enjoy learning and searching in net  can go for B.Sc. Admission

Most Universities grant merit-based admission to the B.Sc. Computer Science program. The application forms are made available in the months of May and June. In the application forms, students mark their preference for Computer Science. Then,Universities declare a cut-off list. Students who fulfill the cut-off marks are eligible to further process of joining.

In some universities the admission were based on entrance examination, about 60% weightage is given to marks scored in entrance exam and 40% weightage is given to marks scored in 10+2 exams.
