B.Sc Mathematics- A Universal Course

Hi friends!

Today I am going to discuss about a universal course- B.Sc Mathematics and its opportunities. 

Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quantity and arrangement. Math is all around us, in everything we do. It is the building block for everything in our daily lives, including mobile devices, Architecture (ancient and modern), Art, money, Engineering, and even Sports.


What is B.Sc Maths is about?

Mathematics is the study of measurement, properties, and relationships of quantities and sets, using numbers and symbols.Though mathematicians use advanced technologies and mathematical principles to address real-world problems and expand the knowledge base of mathematics as a discipline.



Duration - 3 years(Hons degree also available)

Eligibility - 10+2 Pass (Maths group must)

Average fees - 12 K to 30 K for three years (Government aided colleges) may vary up to 60 k under private institutions for three years.


Who should opt for B.Sc Mathematics?

Students those who are interested in analysing and interpreting data with  advanced numeracy skills and having the patience to spend long periods of time to concentrating on complex problems and to solve accurately.


Admission

Colleges which follow merit-based admission process, generally release a cut off percentage for admission to the program. The admission forms are available in the month of May/June after the results for +2 results are declared. Entrance exams may conducted in some universities based on their policies.


Scope for Higher Studies after B.Sc Mathematics

Master’s Degree(M.Sc): One of the best higher studies option available after B.Sc Mathematics which is followed by M.Phil or PhD. Thus you can find a promising career in Research or Teaching field.

  • Due to numerical calculation,have to sacrifice some of your personal time.
